Brighton Marina

There is a storm brewing in Brighton with the marina being extensively developed. I do not think anyone has consulted the boat owners - if this goes ahead then it is going to make the marina a rather different place to be.

I have found the pro (www.brightonmarina.co.uk) web site and the anti (http://www.savebrightonmarina.co.uk/index.html). Does anyone know where I can get up to date information on what is happening ?

I only visited Brighton Marina once, IMHO anything they did to it could only be an improvement

They are proposing to put a bridge across the entrance which will require raising everytime someone wants to leave/enter. I accept that the marina is somewhat unappealing but my concerns are more safety related.
