We arrived at about 4:15 and were hauled off to the Yachtsmans Arms by friends. We then had fish and chips back on the boat and had a relatively quite evening. Saw both of you leaving from the pontoon we were on. Waving like an idiot! I think it was busier than the boat show weekend on Saturday!

Yes it was very busy. first time I'd been there but liked it very much, I reckon to be back there again maybe next weekend as I did'nt see enough of the place!

You might want to try 'Winkies' for fish and chips next time you're in B'sea. IMHO far superior.
If you think that 'Winkies' is superior to the chippy on the hard, then you DO need to experience the BEST chippy to the south of Aldeburgh!

Take a walk from the Hard staying on the main road, you will pass the Railway Tavern (or you may want to stop en route for a pint of EXCELLENT Real Ale) keep walking for another 5 minutes and you will come to 'Scooby Snax'. **** name but Fish and Chips to die for!!
