Brightlingsea Pyefleet week

I have just been to Brightlingsea and expected to see lots of racing, but there was nothing. What has happened to Pyefleet week? I remember when there were over 200 boats

The one designs were out this afternoon... It seemed pretty quiet around lunch when we rolled up mind....
No problem getting a place to moor...

Entries do seem to be down a bit this year, although I'm pretty sure that 'good' years were > 100 boats not > 200. We do have 36 Lasers and BODs in the teens which is a great sight.

We are heading there today from Ramsgate.

Looks like plenty.... No one is rafted on the visitors pontoon.. I think we are going to go out for a
Tootle and then spend the night in the Pyfleet.

The plan is to go back north on Friday...

Stuck our bow out of Ramsgate this morning.
After the 3rd green one we went back to the berth we left a short time before.
We will have another go tomorrow but head for Shotley.
