Brightlingsea harbour - does it has electricity

Sounding almost like a proper sailor now. My son and I stayed on the pontoon a couple if weeks ago. Lovely, peaceful and good company, with fellow morons ;sailors) promenading up and down, stopping for a chat etc. Water taxi stops early during the week but a little tender got us ashore and back, no probs. A lovely place all round. Harbourmaster very helpful to first timers too. Posting a video of our little adventure soon.

Brightlingsea does have an odd charm.. (Not including the 'flats' of course!) I really enjoyed my winter afloat there. Boat owners were really friendly and the local pub had a good atmosphere.

Also the pontoons, being away from it a touch, were very peaceful..

Nice place all-round. Can't comment on water-taxi as I got by with my little tender, just fine.

Marina has power but it's like being at the bottom of a canyon so the dongle wouldn't work. A bit gloomy but the town makes up for it.
