Bridgemarsh Marina

I'm thinking of moving Mistral for next season.

Can anyone give me the pros & cons of a berth at Bridgemarsh Marina? Certainly
Pros: Quiet, nice yard, easy parking, slipway, scrubbing posts, bird reserve means lots of wildlife going on. Good walks along sea wall. Train is 400yds away. Showers toilets clean (but not modern). Staff live on site. Calor Gas Butane & Propane.
Cons: Not much water +/- 2 hours either side of LW, old pontoons, steep narrow walkway at LW. electric voltage can be low. Not all sizes of gas bottle stocked. No chandlery. No pub local.

Is there a waiting list for berths? No

How do costs compare with other marinas on the Crouch? Cheapest on the East Coast, I think 168th in the PBO list this year. £2k for my 35ft.

Thanks. You're welcome.

It is one of the cheapest of the marinas with pontoons in the Crouch or East Coast.
It is easy to get to by car or train.
It is very friendly - lots of ECF people, though a few have left us recently - Lisa, we miss you!
Access depends on your draft - probably HW+/- 3hrs or a bit more.
You can sail up or down the Crouch, so even in horrible weather, there is somewhere for a day sail.
Further afield, you can get to most of the nice East Coast places in a day, or Lowestoft in two.
Go down and have a chat to Biff - I don't know if there is a waiting list, but he'll tell you.
