Bridge at Byron\'s

This is a notice to all clubs and visitors to Ashmount House.

As those of you who have come by car know I have a bridge over the stream located between my house and the frontage.
Regretfully I have to ask that in future vehicles no longer use it. If you require to get a vehicle down to a boat please use the gate at the bottom of Ferry Lane which on request will be unlocked. Bear in mind that visiting yacht clubs are loaned a key for this purpose.

I have had the bridge refurbished and re-decked and whilst they were doing this they found that two of the four supporting telegraph poles were showing signs of rot.
Under the circumstances I am now restricting the bridge to only the lightest of vehicles.

Seeing as I am a fella of generous proportions I shall hopscotch across the strongest corners if walking..

Hope all that traffic down the lane doesn t bother my crew when we moor up the narrow boat next door!
