Bricks in the oven to make a storage heater?

As you have been running the oven all night why not get one of those paraffin stoves that are basically a primus burner in a tin can with a 1 inch copper pipe as flue. Taylors used to make one and I think someone else does now. Used to have one in a 29 ft boat - nice and compact giving a dry heat.

Another thing I have heard of, but not experienced, is a stack of clay plant pots inverted over a cooking stove burner - but you still have the condensation problem.

here's the solution. Rip out the crudity of the Taylors and replace with a Webspacuni hot air diesel heater.

Obviously some storage medium would help. Breezeblocks are full of air and so useless for that purpose - indeed they were an early attempt at an insulating block. Storage heater bricks are specially made to increase their specific heat. As a bodge you might find sand to be half effective.
