I shall be weather watching from about the 5th, hoping to cross from Fowey to L'Aberwrach in Gentlemans yachting weather sometime before the 9th.

I must admit I haven't got a clue. I've been accepted but not had any berthing or arrival details, sent them an email with a computer translation yesterday, (which is probably totally meaningless or possibly rude), and am waiting for a response.

I would have thought a local joint like Camaret and some full throttle day trips would suit you. If I'm alongside you're welcome to pull in until someone starts to shout. However I've never been "round the corner" before.

it is staggeringly beautiful in fair weather, huge open bay area, so anchoring a top possibilty and surely what the ancient multi-raggies are planning.

Did you pay entry fee money for a berth? or for a ticket to erm some party thing? or both? or wot?

like you, we'll be in an(other) opposite of a tall square-rigged sailing ship.
