Hello
Not been in here before but my brother in law has a narrowboat and wants to go up the Thames. Can he do Brentford Lock to Teddington easily in one tide if he goes out of the lock at the earliest opportunity one day mid August? How long does it take?

Very easy indeed. Once locked out hook a right go round the bend and you are in Richmond. I would say 15 mins max and then 30-40 mins taking it easy to Tedd.

You WILL need water at Brentford which you will of course have when locking out. Richmond gates will therefore be up so straight through.

Very simple short journey.
