Breezy today @ the Hoek van Holland

I think they escaped the worst of the storm. Friday night we had 9-10 NW on the Belgian coast. Plenty of damage in the harbours. In Blankenberge a pontoon with some twenty boats very nearly broke free but fortunately the emergency services managed to secure it just in time. It was only in the course of Sunday that the wind dropped to 7 Bft
