Going next week for club PU Saturday night. Doubt if we will feel up to doing a fryup Sunday morning! Any suggestions for a greasy spoon (or sub) in the area Sunday morning? Daresay I will get told that there are no "greasy spoons" in CYH but worth a try. Even an upmarket one will do!

Thanks in advance for your advice/recommendations
Mike

I like The Octopusses Garden on the main street.

A Beatles theme cafe. Apparently they are open 8 days a week, and all you need is grub, according to signs on the walls. Good breakfast as well.

Also you can 'rent a cottage on the Isle of Weight, if it's not too dear' /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

If you want to tie it in with a brisk walk, head down the esplanade to the cafe by Gurnard SC, which does one of the best. Otherwise try Corries Cabin the fish and chip restaurant by the Anchor. Neither are the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Thanks to all, seems to be a fair choice dependiing on how bad the head is! I'll see how the crew feel on Sunday morning & maybe toss a coin. May also depend on Jupiter, if Pluviusing down then nearest will be favoutite, regardless of ambience etc!

Cheers
Mac
