Saw this today down the sales pontoon at Bray...right cheeky blighter it was too. Thought it might be an escaped pet but after some research, it looks like it may be a mink.

Is it worth informing the marina peeps? Are these considered a 'pest' that need to be caught and removed for the good of the local fish/ducks/rabbits?

Find another 99 and you have helped pest control and will have a warm coat for next winter :D:D

Mink

There is one just like that a Cookham Lock, it lives in the bank behind the newer tail layby, on the left as you approach heading upstream. When the workmen were there a couple of years ago, it was wandering around the site without a care in the world.

Environment Agency log reports and take action as they are trying to eradicate them as a non-native, invasive species.

I've just found out that they eat crayfish...Maybe we should catch it and release it up at Abingdon as last time we moored there and fished for the night there were loads of the bloody things eating our bait!

The trouble is, an 'Interlope' in the Windsor area, is what the locals call a Wild African animal that looks like a large Deer or Gazelle...

Wasn't my Wig Paul, wrong colour... :D

i heard a pair of Pherans underpants escaped when he was moored at Windsor. It could be them terrorising the area.
