Word on the street is that BCR is coming round to the Merdeway at the end of May.
Any idea what time you lot be exiting Teddington or maybe Limehouse on presumably the following day.?
Trying to arrange a meet up on the journey round with one of the flotilla.

They're probably calling in at Limehouse on Sunday and then going to Chatham before ending up at the Rochester Cruising Club, maybe Jaws will be along soon to give you the full itinerary.

For a moment there, I misread that, and was briefly imagining you lot parading around in feather boas in front of the poor lockie....

I'm just off to see the shrink now /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Better late than never!
All arriving on Saturday 23rd and staying overnight at Teddington lock cut. Should help the EA coffers!

Depart 13:00 Sunday 24th for Limehouse and then Monday onto Chatham/Rochester.

Are you going to MDL or RCC,I ask only so can stand on the bank watch you lot try to moor and jeer a bit ......not much to do down here and we take any opportunity for free entertainment very seriously./forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

A chum out of Bray is coming down, easy to identify,he be the one who thinks that his bowthruster is there to steer with, less challenging that that steery wheel thingy or the throttles.....sigh.
The boat shall remain nameless........however I am very easily bribed.

OK,all understood, just got a heads up on your latest itinery and do you really expect to actually get that lot out of bed at that time of the morning. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Why not just get the lockies to open both sets of gates at once, this would ensure all the reluctant risers get whooshed out into the tidal bit, wether they wanted to or not ....?

Fred,
It is well known hereabouts that you have a penchant for hitting the sack by 9pm. I am sure this is very benificial for you but it does have an undesirable side-effect for folk like me ...........

Please stop coming on here at crack of dawn with bloody stupid comments and suggestions that create considerable irritation when they eventually penetrate my emerging consciousness before the first cup of coffeee has assisted the return to a new day.

Ta muchly. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Suspect some of them will still be up partying at that time, so no trouble getting them up! Keeping them awake for the length of time its going to take to do Teddington to Chatham at 7 knots might be a struggle though.
