£895k, seems a reasonable price. Better priced than Bridgemarsh at £3.6m

Would love to have it as a house.....

Was interested to see this as grew up sailing at Up River Yacht Club just up from Brandy Hole.

Brandy Hole Yacht Station is mentioned which is presumably the moorings owner. Who gets the income from winter lift outs and storage? Is there any maintenance business ?

Whether it is good value seems to depend hugely on the overall trading performance and with both catering and the bar franchised out you wonder how profitable they are.

I took my Sigma 362 past there and up to Long Reach a few years back and the river seemed much smaller than when I was in a National 12 !! Was more comfortable when heading back down towards Burnham.

I guess there is limit on how much the business can be developed/expanded other than to existing membership and the non sailing local towns which seem to have continued to sprawl.

All the moorings and the maintainance is dealt with by the boatyard, which it seperately owned.

I guess that as a commercial concern it has to rely on bar and restaurant takings and it's a bit out of the way to survive.
