Fitted out at the weekend and went for a short sail to Cowes and back. Can anybody tell me what's happened to the Brambles post ?

I am sure some poor sod is going to have a hell of the time trying to find it at night as a RYA training exercise....

Marc.

They've probably changed the postman (or postwoman). Everytime they do that round here my post goes astray too.

What? Oh, sorry THAT post...............

Think it is to be replaced by a Meterological Station, but don't know of timescale of absence

Painted Yellow???

They are sure trying to make it soft for the wannabe Yachtmasters. Is someone in High Places doing the RYA in April?

Agree

In that part of the world, unless doing accurate nav exercises, you can run by line of sight even in the dark, there are enough lighted marks not to even need to look at a chart if the weather is clear. Though you'd have to be out a lot day and night to become eventually comfortable
