Bradwell wind farm

Yes, blades went up on one a day after we last spoke about them. You can see them from Heybridge and from Mersea of course.

Seen these for the first time today, not sure why - but they seem far less intrusive than the gaggle of turbines adjacent to Brightlingsea. Perhaps they are smaller or the background of pylons somehow camouflages them.
 
There are only two up and whirring. They had trouble with the access road and the crane has gone off on other work. It's going to be much more noticeable when the whole ten are up - you can see them a long way off on the land.
 
Went out to Bench Head last Saturday and the two windmills were easy to see and not as expected close to the power station. Perhaps when there are 10 of 'em then they may make a useful land mark, just need not to steer directly for them otherwise St Peters flats will claim you. The Bradwell 'blocks' are the best to steer by.

The ones at St Osyth look aweful
