Bowthruster Joystick?

Does anyone know where to get one of these? Searched everywhere without success. It's for a QL/Volvo thruster.

As far as I can tell it's just a 2 way switch in a joystick package.

From a dim and distant memory - I believe there used to be a company called 'coastal rides' that used to sell stuff like that. I have the same joystick on my boat. I would suggest there will be alternatives out there as it is, as you say, just a simple double switch.

I don't know whether the following links help but I believe they are from the manufactureres of bow thrusters formerly sold as QL. So hopefully the joysticks may be a reasonable match. Parts availability seems as scarce as hens teeth. I am presently in need of a new propeller.

Not sure what throttle you have but we have our on the throttle a toggle switch which works brilliantly. down is right up is left. It works and we retain hand on wheel and throttle.

If you cant find a new one give me a shout as having a stern thruster fitted complete with double control so will have one going spare

Here is a joy switch controller which is wired just as the OME QL switch. The original green and white wires are directional and the original brown is the common.
On the new switch the blue and gray are directional and the red is common. Black is the same on both.
