I have a QL BP500 bow thruster on my S37 which came on and drained the battery while I wasn't there. I have tested all the components and it is a faulty circuit board.
I would like to use the "Vetus Time delay unit for 12V" in place of the board, which will protect the thruster from having the direction reversed too quickly and cause mechanical failure.
From the picture of the delay unit I can see Ground and presumably the other three wires are 12v plus left and right solenoid connections. These are all grey and I don't want to connect it up incorrectly so does anyone know which is which or have any experience with this unit?

Thanks for your reply, if you hover over the connector wires in the picture they show neg on pin 1 or 4, is that different to yours?

No,

1 & 4 are positive feeds from switch for each direction, not neg.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks for confirming, my confusion is that the picture shows that 1 or 4 uses a green and yellow cable suggesting earth/neg vs the rest being grey. However, the wiring diagram clearly shows the layout you shared so I will go with that.
Thanks for your help.
