My bow thruster stopped working today after max 10 sec burst.
When I checked the fuse, it had done it's job; it's 80A, does that sound about right.
The motor itself was cool to touch and all looked well around it
I was going to rob the adjacent fuse, off the anchor windlass, but when I undid the nuts securing it, there was only half of it there.
It was wet underneath it.
Do you think corrosion played a part in both cases?
Thanks Richard

I was going to say enormous, soles, your 80A sounds about right, depending on power of bow thruster. I think mine is 100A. And yes, seawater is likely to rot them over a period of time.

It looks as though 3 new fuses should be on order, 2 replacements and at least an extra one as a spare.
