I wondered about acquiring some inflatable toys to while away the lonely hours. They might also double as bouyancy aids if in extremis. What do you recommend.

Absolutely - crucial questions - would they turn you onto your back? How easy would they be to manually inflate? Where is the inflation tube? You might be able to get your leg over them in the water but can you get in........ no that's enough!

Must admit that going up Cowes River ... Medina - one time a Folkboat was coming out with a red lipped Inflatable Girlie tied to mast ...... lass and I couldn't stop laughing ....
