The Film "Kind Hearts and Coronets" is on TV this week. In it Dennis Price disposes of one member of the D'Ascoyne family by sending his punt over a weir from one of the Maidenhead hotels. Does anyone here know which one?
He consoles himself over the death of the girl in the punt with a wonderful line to the effect that she had presumably already during the week-end met with a fate which is said to be worse than death.
