Just had a few days here so some comments I hope will be of help
Boulogne
Swan Restaurant in old town -main tourist drag and it shows. Looks good but onion and fish soup from tins, stale frite, smallest portion and smallest size of moule ever and we got conned into more expensive wine than we ordered...... typical tourist clip joint.
O'Sud in main town just off Dalton.....missus had a super fish tagine and I had the best moule/frite (moule sud) with pernod etc I've ever done! nice surroundings we really enjoyed it!
Le Doyenne just down lane from O' Sud -a recommendation from Featherstone -nice food but very indifferent lady in charge and no atmosphere. Would not return.

L'Esperance near relocated tourist office. Not the most romantic -a bit workaday really but the food was really good - smoked salmon for Euro 5 as starter was d..... good and the skate main at 7.50 was brilliant. very cheap compared with main quay -ok veg not great but the french a bit like that ! I'd go again.
Ate at two others but really just tourist joints so no comments.....choose carefully they are ready to take your money!
And Dover....
Try the Allotment in the main drag on left. We really enjoyed it, not cheap but a decent place in Dover.....theres not many!
