It's a Cruisers Yacht 330 Express

We picked her up Friday morning and set off for Great Barrier Island in the Hauraki Gulf 50 miles out from Auckland, NZ. She performed beautifully and we had a pretty comfortable ride for the first 20 miles until the swell picked up and we started taking a few big ones over the bow. Once inside the protection of the Island it was perfect.

Overall 106 miles for our first shakedown cruise and we are really happy with her.

Checking out the hull.

Congratulations, the boat looks really nice at anchor and I would not have been a fan of the grey hull but I must say I like it.

I don't think most of us would run 106 miles on a first trip out though... must show real confidence. I also looked at these at a recent show as a friend bought the 300 last year, massive inside and good use of open plan I felt.

'Pleased to hear boat was good on the sea, did you get any slamming or would you say the hull shape was upto it?

And as for the pics, entrance into 'Fitz Roy?' - Just beautiful. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Enjoy the boat and keep the pics coming. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

BTW. Don't post pics of fish like that. There's a few around here that go fishing and don't catch a bloody thing! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Congratulations Vaga. Great pics - reminds me of a couple of boat trips I did there a couple of years ago. Must make time to return!

Nice choice of colours on your boat. The brown hull looks really good with black a/f and black canvas

Gorgeous boat, there is a dealer here that has a few "Cruiser" on the hard - looking very good.

We have a Mustang 2800, I understand there are a few of those down your way?
Not many in the UK.
