On the trawlers the engine and engine room was washed down and cleaned after every two week trip which atthe time seemed a right fag but coming back for the next trip everything was clean and tidy hardly need for overalls.During the fishing cleaning went on and painting ,keeping on top of the business wasthe way to go and in the event of a breakdown it was clean to work on

Nothing wrong with my engine installation. Same with my avon dinghy. I varnished the oars only last year.
