So here's the task .
I know where a brand new propeller came off the tug three years ago,it cost over £300 .
Problem, the depth of water is about 5 ft
This does vary according to the height of low tide .
Some clever sod suggested using a glass bottom thingy to see what's what ,
I don't want to buy waist high waders as I have normal waders .
Its behind the rock mwall and so would not have been caught up in some ones nets mmmmm maybe thats an idea !!
The water is always foggy so unless you have a means to see the bottom then its a case of treading .
Its not as easy as tying a line to the nearby light and walking in an arc each time moving towards the light thus keeping the search pattern, the bottom is strewn with rocks and stuff.
So unless I want hypothermia it could take ages to locate it .
Does the idea of a see through thing'y
seem viable ??
sensible non boring ideas please

If the water's always foggy then your glass bottom barrel idea's going to be as nmuch use as a ashtray on a motorbike.

What sort of prop? Steel? Well a magnet would work then.

More likely though aly or bronze eh?

How about a wet suit?

Invite Longjohn up for the weekend with his diving gear, I hear he wears it all the time anyway.

Pay one of your lads a fiver to go for a swim?

Start up a rumour in the pub that there's something REALLY valuable lost in that location.

Confidentially tell a couple of "the lads" that as they know, King John's treasure was lost somewhere in the Wash, wasn't it? Well you've just had some American researchers ask to charter your boat, top secret this is, don''t breathe a word to anyone 'cos you're gonna stitch them up on the charter rates. Anyway these Yanks reckon they know where it is and this is the area where they're interested in searching (pointng at chart). But ssh don't let on to anyone else OK? Then watch them as the penny drops and they'll come back with "C'mon lads let's beat these Yanks to it".and then watch the vultures descend and find the prop for you?

Apart from that, no ideas I'm afraid.

Hi Colin
My boy says he will go in but after a few minutes he'll get mardy and want to come out !!!
I'd enjoy watching him suffer but cant afford the legal bill re forced child labour.

As for telling the interbred's it would take to long to explain or draw picture cards for em !!!

A while back a bronze cannon was found in that location ,where the dredger used to tip after working the docks at Boston

I have to do it now there's no turning back its gunner be mine !!!!!
