OK Larry. I've gone for Seajet Shojun (Shogun?). Two coats, finished today. Let's see how long that lasts before a scrub.

Out of interest, between high pressuring two weeks ago and anti-fouling in the last two days, I've had to brush off the beginnings of barnacle growth! And that's with only having water round me for two hours a day!

That sounds bad news.

Went in at beginning of April but still sailing at max hull speed yesterday. Perhaps the water in Brightlingsea isn't as fertile!

Just wish I knew what I was doing right - boat didn't go that fast last season!

Ah. I think you properly set up the mast better. I did that once and it made a lot of difference. It was an accidental improvement of course. I tried hard last year to get the mast straight and tight and clever things like that and it made a difference. Finally dropping down river to the Quarters tomorrow. My only justification for being late is that someone mistook TG's hull for gliberfast today!

Ah... going to be a bad season then... How do you measure those small percentage increments in TG's speed with all that tuning going on... Remember the old adage from dignhy racing. 80% of the performance is down to the prat on the stick.!!!
