Anyone know the drying height at Bosham Quay?

We are due to dry the boat out for a scrub this w/e and with about 1.2 metres at low water I'm not so sure that I wont be getting my feet wet.....!!

Cheers

Talk to the Quaymaster, Mr. McGrail, - phone 01243 573336 or email at mcgrail@bosh-quay.fsnet.co.uk if you want info re water levels at the quay.
Sailing club yearbook gives the following tides for Bosham;
- Friday 3 April HW 4m at 0601; LW 1.6m at 11.51; HW 3.9m at 18.51
- Saturday LW 1.8m at 00.41; HW 3.8m at 07.17; LW 1.6m at 13.16; HW 4m at 20.16
- Sunday LW 1.7m at 01.54; Hw 3.9M AT 08.45; LW 1.4M at 14.22; 4.2m at 21.45.
General impression is that the neap trough is Friday & Saturday nights. Depending on your draft you may be neaped during this period. But if you don't mind the possibility of not coming off till Sunday night you should have about 1+ hrs of dry (but muddy) hard standing either side of LW this weekend.
Hope you have already booked the grid. Otherwise you are too late as it is fully booked from Thursday till end of Sunday. You can still come alongside the quay but you won't be on the grid and you will sink into 1m + of mud at low water.

Thanks - got it booked for sunday so no worries there. I used it once before at Neaps and was OK - we draw about 1.7m - but I cant remember the drying height!

Varies . Further end of quay its deep mud and will not dry at neaps. On the concrete pad at neaps you might need wellies. Pad starts opposite QMs office door.
Grid around the corner always dries.
