Bosch GOP250CE -v- Fein

Trusty Fein gave up the ghost today, I hope it can be repaired but no time to get it fixed, I must have one to complete a job tomorrow, I can pick up the Bosch GOP250CE on the way to the job. Anybody got one and how do they handle for for comfort in lengthy periods of use compared to the Fein. A bit academic really as I have to have it before 08:00 and the only option is Screwfix.

Why not go for the cheaper PMF 180 as a stopgap until you get the Fein repaired, I used one for sanding all the external woodwork on the Achilles and found it ok.

That's useful, thanks, as you can imagine from making the Fein smoke it gets some wellie so the heavier one would make a better back up (or even first call) I think, my main concern is that somebody said that for using a lot, the Bosch transmits more vibration and makes yer hand numb, I use it a lot so comfort is important.

Well, picked up a 250 and was very impressed, it seems better than my old one, maybe because it came with fresh new sharp cutters or the old one was a bit tired, no problems with numb hand etc, I can recommend it, reliability in long term use is another matter to be tested though, but first impressions after using it for a day are very good.
