Borg warner velvet drive problem

Hi there my gearbox is stuck in forward gear and cable is ok but cant move it by hand- control lever on gearbox anybody know of gearbox repair people, preferably northern England cheers

These people have been doing it for a long term

although Glasgow is a bit further north than northern England

A velvet drive really cant be stuck in gear.

Disconnect the cable and operate the little lever manually.

Report back.

I imagine the control shaft has some rust on it. send me a pm, with email address and i will send you a pdf service book. page 25 of the above details removal and replacement.
