As I said on the Hunter 19 forum, even Oliver Lee can't have ever dreamed he was designing an aircraft carrier, I'm impressed, not least by the safe recovery !

With the weight of the GoPro the model has a stall speed of around 15mph so a bit faster than that. A bit of wind would have helped reduce the relative speed to the boat but I was concerned we would also get turbulence off the main. Even so it was a case of 'vectoring in'

I was expecting the boat would look dead in the water but actually she does look like she's moving and has a definite wake.

It was a buzz though - we really weren't sure we could get it back!

Yes, I don't keep the boat there though as I normally sail on the east coast but Rutland is handy for a bit of sociable sailing.
