Boot Düsseldorf is on from the 18th - 26th January.

A group of us ( JFM / Jimmy The Builder), Deleted User, Whitelighter ) are going on the 21st out Heathrow BA at 7:10 and back on the 19:15 if anyone fancies a day out. The more the merrier and we usually get free tickets from our favourite boat dealers!

BA still have AVIOS availability in Economy ( sorry I nicked the last one they had in business!) or economy is £125 return at present. Eurowings are about £90 but arrive later and leave earlier.

Impressive use of the spellchecker there J :D:D

I would greatly recommend this as a fantastic day out, with some fun and interesting boaty types. I went in Jan this year and had a great day with the forum team.

No WhatsApp message James. I still have the 2019 Group on my phone. Not sure yet on Boot. Will let you know. Hope all well?

All good here P, thanks. Check your WA again, I sent you an invitation to the group yesterday or the day before. Ping me a note on WA if you can't find it.

I'm in!

The only one of this illustrious group I know in the real world is jrudge so will you look out for me and shepherd me in j, please? :)

Looking forward to it.

I would much appreciate if one of you experienced boot-goers can help answer some questions about the show:

- Is it very crowded, i.e. should we be reaching out to our local dealers to learn if they can assist in booking us in for viewings?
- I assume that the nearby hotels are quite busy during show week so probably a good idea to book in good time or is this not an issue?
- I found a list of exhibitors at the website but couldn't see a preliminary list of the boats on display. Do you know if this will be published later?

Many thanks!

Visiting stands is a pita. Pre booking will help get you on. The stand dragons are specially trained to kill all known sales stone cold.

Boats. Given the size of the place you will find more of a range there than pretty much anywhere
