Rob, yes but do not trust the topping lift, attach the main halyard to the end of the boom and take the load on this. Also watch out for passing speed boats the wash of which would probably throw you out of the hammock.
PS Is this the same Aurelia that came from SWFYC?

A number of the chandlers sell hammocks - try Nauticalia, or WestMarine.
However I don't think they are designed to attach to the boom - a hammock needs it's to be attached approximately level, and if you tried that on the boom you would not have room to get in.
Perhaps you should try it between the mast and the backstay - or perhaps the forestay
