anybody know boat Bonny Flighty double ender (Sailing about 28 feet)

Met bloke in Padstow well into 70's possibly 80's single handed from Colchester up to Scotland, said it was his swan song and wouldn't be able to do it again . He was on his way back to east coast How he got back ok ! Hope I can still go the distance when I'm his age !!
