Bonjour from Benodet

Just heard from them again - Made it to Baiona and are refueling. "All good, good passage, good weather". They're doing very well! Knocked another 250miles off. "Very few lumpy bits. Interesting seeing the north spanish coast and finistair".

Tomorrows destination is Cascais - lucky buggers /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Not wishing to do a Murray Walker or anything, but they're flying at the moment, aren't they? Good luck to them. Thanks for the updates Rick.

Cheers

Hi Guys , yes we are really flying. It is so nice being away from the UK and at last some decent weather. Jenny Wren is just a magic boat, she has not missed a beat. We plan to do cascais tommorow, Villamoura thursday and Gib on Friday. (we are slowing up a bit now) /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Having a little trouble with uploading some photos but Mike is on the case as I speak.

I,m sure we can get a reasonable wi fi connection and post photos soon.

Good to hear from you /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Glad its going well. Can't wait to see chartlets and photos.

Keep safe, enjoy the nice weather (gits) and have fun!

Rick

Tonights update: "In Cascais, great run, flat seas. Nearly 2hrs to refuel!!! But now ready for tomorrow. Looks like an easy passage to Villamora. Hard to believe how well this is going!!!!!"

Rick

2 hours to refuel are you sure they went on the Gosport fuel pontoon!!
Just an idea all that tinkering Mike has been doing on a new boat for the past few months while he has been wind bound are we sure he hasn’t fitted surface drives to enable him to be steaming along as such a pace…. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Thanks Rick. It'll be interesting to hear how much fuel is being used on each leg. Knowing Mike he'll have a full consumption report for us at the end of the trip!

Cheers
Jimmy
