I think Nov 5th will be a good opportunity for the crew to get hands on experience at the same time as getting rid of some old flares.

Anyone else planning a good booze up /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

This is not intended as a serious post , everyone seemed to be in such an argumentative mood , I thought it appropriate and in any event a timely reminder that it is illegal to set rockets off.

On a serious note wheather you are YC or Marina based, the RNLI will come and do a flare demo if you ask...it is really good,.Well worth the chance to see .

The thing I love about boating in rural areas, mainly on islands is that we get to play with chainsaws and axes to make these things:

Any forum crims ?

I've just witnessed at least 30 flares, so come on spill the beans

How many out of date flares have you let off

How many duds did you find ?

PMs welcome, I will post combined results anonymously , we need to know if it is worth keeping the old set on board.

How many let off

How many failed
