I think Nov 5th will be a good opportunity for the crew to get hands on experience at the same time as getting rid of some old flares.

Anyone else planning a good booze up /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif












This is not intended as a serious post , everyone seemed to be in such an argumentative mood , I thought it appropriate and in any event a timely reminder that it is illegal to set rockets off.

I find 5th Nov is the perfect time to practice letting off old smoke and hadheld flares.. NOT ROCKETS...

It is the only time I have ever let a flare off..

On a serious note wheather you are YC or Marina based, the RNLI will come and do a flare demo if you ask...it is really good,.Well worth the chance to see .
