Hi All,

Any suggestions where I might get some flat-headed bolts for fixing the auxiliary outboard bracket plate to the mechanism? We have just made up a new wooden plate for mounting the outboard on but the old flat-head bolts are way too rotten to reuse. They are about 1/4" x 2".

Thanks,
Nick

You might also find eBay useful - I bought small quantities of A2 bolts/nuts/washers from various sellers very happily - and cheaper than screwfix, although they are good for large quantities...

Why not use ordinary hexagonal headed bots? Conterbore the holes deep enough for the heads and a washer.
That is how the pad on my outboard bracket is done.
