I need to buy some galvanised bollards, cleats or mooring rings to bolt into a new jetty I am building. There are quite a few available in stainless but virtually nothing galvanised.

Can anyone help? They seem to be like rocking horse s#*t.

Cheers

That kind of stuff tends to be custom made these days; make sketches of what you want, any blacksmith or steel fabricator can knock the stuff together then you just get it galvanised yourself.

Ouch indeed::rolleyes:

Unfortunately rocking horses are pretty devious and just when you think you have found a rocking horse s#@t it isn't in stock.

Knights surplus has only got one of the large cleats in stock, thats where I went first as it is only just down the road. They do have weld on double ships bollards for £50 but I thought that was a bit much.:eek:

Sheridan marine's bollard is only 4" and not really big enough for a permanent mooring jetty.

And Westward rope and wire are out of stock.:D

However, Absolute Industrial have good 10" and 12" cleats and they are in stock, so thank you for the link to them.:)
