I spent a couple of days on the Deben last week

Wonderful

I saw a Bolger moored up near Woodbridge

Does anyone know who owns it?

Also are there any big open meetings on - I would love to film some yachts or dayboats racing against the tide

While beating up the river this week - low water with the tide underneath us - I was amazed at how steep the sides of the channel are - it should look great

With over 700 designs from Phil Bolger, you will have to be a bit more specific. There was a design covered in Classic Boat or Watercraft that was a much modified Moccasin(sp) and lives around there.

Vince, when people refer to Bolger boats they tend to mean his flat bottomed, vertical sided ones, described as 'box boats' A friend is building a 15ft 4" Micro cat yawl. Very quick to build from ply. Looks VERY square, but sails remarkably well.
