I don't know whether you are a forumite or not, but you, Sir and your good lady, saved our bacon today. :encouragement:
My son and I are most grateful.

Full story:
- We put Guapa back on her mooring today.
- First time we used the new (to us) dinghy outboard. Test drive went well enough.
- However, on the way back to SYH the engine stalled. Youngest wanted to restart the engine - pulled - and was left with the pull-cord in hand.
- Started paddeling. Managed to cross the river, but the tide got the better of us. There was no way we'd make it back to SYH.
- Waved to Bojangles of Ipswich who was passing by.
- They kindly towed us in SYH.
- Huge sigh of relief all round. Very grateful.
