Boatyard Servicing Costs

Is there any difference in price between having a boat serviced in the tidal and non-tidal parts of the Thames? I'm talking about a lift-out, out drives serviced etc

My experience is that in the non-tidal area yard prices and service quality are pretty indifferent; there aren't too many yards left and they have a large captive market

What's the experience of this forum?
