My other half always said that the Saab 90 was the nearest she had ever been to benig in a car that behaved like a boat.

My personal favourite was the old Ford Consul.

My children used to get sea sick in our old 2cv, but not in the boat, and when we would drive home from the boat it was hard to distinguish the motion!

Nobel 200

4 wheeler 4 forward gears 4 reverse gears! Steering that oscillated and you adjusted the speed so that the oscillation took you round the corner....

No, mine was a Mark1, bench seat, column change, 3 speed box, foot operated headlight dip, vacuum wipers and needed to toast the plugs to get it started in the winter. Perhaps that's why I like old wooden boats: plus ca change etc.
