I have a Westerly Tempest with a tiller (31.5 ft) and when well balanced the tiller lets you know by being really light and easy, even in strong winds. I also have a dinghy sailor's prejudice that wheels are, somehow, not proper so i really like my tiller. This feeling is reinforced by a constant nagging sound from my daughters who think that the tiller is as uncool as somewhere without wifi.
