I know I shouldn't but that's exactly what got to me about the site when I was trying to buy a dinghy. So, when we (recently) added adverts to our site (this is the bit I shouldn't do ... sorry sorry sorry) we made them time-bombed, sellers have to keep renewing or refreshing their ads while they are trying to sell, then the ads die a natural death once they stop which is hopefully after the thing has sold. I don't know why more ads sites aren't like that.

I sold an outboard on there ,removed the add then months later I started getting enquiries about it again as the add had reappeared. One email to them got it removed again in fairness.
