Boats designed specifically for the boat show

Forward facing seats

I'm with Daka on this. I want to change our current vessel which has a pair of popular, if rattly, forward facing (and reversible) co-pilot seats in the saloon. There's plenty of boats out there with a one-and-a-half bum width helm seat and nowt more - what's this all about?

And when it's warm and sunny there's nothing worse that being tied to the wheel on a long passage when the crew are all out the back sunning themselves! My fault - I should have bought a flybridge first time and not a show pup!

(snip)

Searush, it don't matter on Yoghuorts, yer too busy friggin in the riggen and splicin yer gimble frawcetts and working out tidal flows an trippen over lazy lines and other bits of string an -- an --- etc etc
Plus, how the H der drink yer cocktails at 45 degrees:D

Fairy Nuff, plenty to keep idle hands busy. And a good job too, don't want any lazy slackers on MY boat!

But drinks is easy - yer just don't put 'em down!!!

Acshully, it can be a bit tricky because many saily boats have sloping cabin roofs & on the port tack, the port side looks horizontal, so you rest you drink there while you are busy tacking. Around goes the bow, across comes the boom & she's on the starboard tack.

SShhwooosh, clunk, splash - and there goes your glass into the drink as it were, instead of the other way around. Simply becaus it is the starboard side that is now horizontal & the side wher you put the glass down is now at 60deg to vertical & drinkless.

But please don't ask how I found this out!!
