Well we went on Thursday in the end they had nothing thar was right for us ,as they are selling before the boats get there which is good news for them ,but I asked about part ex and they said they can't if you do not have original VAT receipt yes that old one again

My boat is over 20 years old and has had several owners and is worth about £8000. Where the original VAT receipt is who knows. So should I not have bought it just because an ancient piece of paper was missing. The world needs to move away from all this ridiculous obsession on pieces of paper and get into the real world.

I suspect, with careful respect to the OP, that if BUK want a boat in PX, they would find a way to handle the lack of original VAT invoice. It's an easy out for them to have a 'rule' such as this.
