There are quite a few forumites with big bikes - personally I doubt if there is one big enough to tow Kelisha /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Been a good few years since my last "proper" bike - figure this is slow enough to keep my licence intact whilst still being fun /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As some round here know we enjoy riding down to the boat.. although I have to say its not mine its the Mrs /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif still there are worse positions to be sat in /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

compared to some of the others its a fairly modest Yamaha YZF 600 Thundercat, have to say I'm starting to get the bug...

BMW 1200GS. Makes a great start to a summer boating weekend, missus drives junior down to coast weekend gaff on friday and I come down on bike straight from work. 2 hrs door to door central London to Bournemouth...can't be bad.

Re: boats &bikes

when in the UK used to ride to the boat at Brighton on either the SP1 or if had a bit to carry I used a PC 800 Pacific Coast.

Out here in Spain its not a huge distance to the Marina, plus I'm getting two old for fast sports bikes, so I've got a Honda Silver Wing, (its a 600cc scooter but dont tell me mates back int uk)

Again lots of storage under the seat, ABS smooth twin, always starts cos its a Honda, suits me.

I tried one of those big scooter things, Bergman I think, two cylinder, reasonable cc if I recall, hated myself for quite liking the relaxed style... no point in trying to prove anything, just sit back and don't get stressed

Yes love 'em!

I ride a Pan European ST1100ST. Lovely Bike, used to ride BMWR80RTs but changed a year or so ago for the Pan. My son who is now 27 and been driving a car for ten years now has never been interested in bikeing, but he came to the bike show at Excel a couple od weeks ago and fell in love with a little red Ducati 600cc. He said I think i'll learn and I thought oh yeh! but today he spent a day training doing his CBT and passed! so he is on his way to that little red beauty!!

just bought a KTM 300, not for getting to the boat but exploring he vast number of off road tracks here in Marbella.

Wouldnt dare drive a bike on the roads here in Spain with all the nutty drivers!
