e closed the deal on our new to us boat today so are now the proud owners of an elderly Birchwood TS37, dating back to 1986 but with 2001 Yanmar 260hp lumps with under 1700hrs. It has been a choppy ride getting here but hopefully all is looking up nicely and we move our stuff on board in the next 2 weeks and start some local (to start with) cruising again. Survey passed with flying colours as did the sea trial even with a very lumpy sea off Dartmouth entrance in wind over tide, 18KTS AT 3,300 rpm into that sea should do. but I will need to put a couple of grab handles to hang on to and aid my shaky legs up there in that lumpiness. or I could just sit down, shut up and stay put.
Stand by for more numpty questions. in next few weeks.
