Boating

By up the Thames do you mean all of the non tidal Thames or just a specific bit of the non tidal? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I've definatelybeen judged by my boat on a couple of occasions.. Because my budget doesn't match my boat desire my 26' boat is 35 years old, lives on the River Frome so doesn't always look her best and when manouvreing her some people appear to think I'm more likely to hit them. They look much more worried than when I am manouvreing a 68' Sunseeker. This reaction is the exception rather than the norm but I've definately noticed it once or twice... Iain

The big boat owners I have met have equally large, if not bigger hearts. Great bunch of instant friends

Oh shucks Major.................. you'll have us all blushing if you carry on.

From a personal point of view............... I think some of the Welsh troops are a little cutting about my vessel /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif and judge me by what I own.
