I thought id start a thread for recommendations for cool and informative boating YouTube Channels

I already follow quite a few with Aquaholic, MBY, TheBoatShow and BoatTest.com at the top of my list for boat reviews.......also check out Capt. Pat Kelley who shows you everything he does to single hand test that even includes starting the engines etc

Can you guys recommend any channels i should check out? :)

The Boat Show is very nice. Great filming and professional. Boattest.com is good also. The American dealer Marinemax have a nice channel with som very detailed walkaround of some Azimut boats like this 1,5 hour
Boattube is quite nice to.

I read your thoughts on superyachts, and agree, however I find this guy interesting (eSysman). Superyacht based, however he also looks at accidents, investigations and MAIB reports in the sector. The 3 part on S/Y Yogi, the brand new $40m that sank in the Aegean a few years back was good.

I'm a fan of Sailing Zingaro too. Guys that packed up life, bought a sailing cat and sailed the pacific (althnough it did eventually fall apart and sink). Great channel though.

Try 'Sail Life' although its about renovation of a sailing boat. 'Mads' is so detailed his refurbishment of his 37ft yacht is something to look forward to each week. He has been rebuilding the vessel for nearly 4 years so that shows the detail he is going into to make things just right.

For back to basics try 'Motor Cruising Ava Grace' New live aboard 's still learning You tubing so not so polished as some other's but certainly worth a look.

Samson Boat Company is well worth a watch too. Leo from Falmouth is rebuilding a 49ft classic yacht over in the northwest of the US. Some serious shipwrighting

eSysman is good sometimes. My only issue is that he claims to be in the business but most of his content is from an outsider/fan view.. If you follow yacht/superyacht media there is not a lot of unseen things/inside information in his videos..

Yeah i used to follow him but i unsubscribed in my last YouTube cull

I was finding it hard to relate to the captain of a 37m superyacht :)

I used to like him but he's gone down in my estimation since he started advertising products on every vid now. Big turn off for me and he seems to be running out of ideas for new vids as well

A couple of channels that havent been mentioned I think?

Denison Yachting
