.To hold your jacket, wouldn't want you spilling any on it! :)

Sore point. As our boat was lifted from it's cradle a couple of weeks ago to be put back in the water, the boatyard lads stopped the hoist to allow me to antifoul the bits that could not be reached whilst in situ. Under pressure to get the job done whilst they waited, I ended up with antifoul dripping onto a brand new pair of jeans, and a brand new pair of Dubarry deck shoes (the old ones were on board and not reachable)

You can imagine the bo*loc*ing I got from the First mate.

Anyone know how i can remove it?

No, but Tom'll buy em of yer. They'll match his jacket ;)

Buy... Bbbuy... leave it out ! I may however make an offer of a swop for a designer fleece, one of a kind you understand, not another one like it Sir! Would suit you Sir.

On second thoughts... those boots are worn by the sailing fraternity, no sorry I'll keep my designer fleece, at least for another week?

Tom

Yes you are so right. Boating people often are the best people. I remember about two years ago, My first boat berthed at Hornsea compound. One sunny summer morning my brother and I were all set for a great days boating and fishing. All the pre trip checks were completed, boat stocked up and ready to go.The tractor took us on to the beach and slowley reveresed into the sea. The engine started.......briefly and the died..It was fine less than ten minutes earlier. it just would not re-start no matter how nice we talked to it.
That was it. day over. Back in the boatyard we stood around our 20 ft fast fisher with a look on our faces that totally described our feelings.
Then... A fellow boat owner who had joined us in the head scratching session said. "Well I was going out on my own, but your welcome to join me on my boat for the day if you want, at least you will get some fishing in" His boat was much bigger than ours and we eagerly accepted.
He was a total and complete stranger yet he unconditionally offered to help salvage an otherwise wasted day. If only people in other walks of life were as friendly and helpfull, the world would be a much better place.

You can imagine the bo*loc*ing I got from the First mate.

First mate bo*loc*ings are permanent and can never be removed; what is more they can be refreshed and renewed without warning!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings!:D
